Meet the talented Partisan Advertising team.
Partisan Advertising was founded in 2010 by Greg and Ash Kramer. Together they have over 45 years of experience working in advertising agencies and marketing agencies, across a broad number of industries and lead a team of ambitious full-time and freelance talent.
When not working remotely, the Partisan team are based at Greg’s home in Auckland. Ash currently works offsite in Carefree, Arizona.

About Greg’s Career
Born and bred in Johannesburg, Greg completed his diploma in Graphic Design and Fine Arts at the Johannesburg Art Foundation in 1994. He started working at Baker Street Advertising, a leading design studio, in 1995 before leaving the company in 2000. Over the next 8 years, he worked at DWF Advertising, one of Johannesburg’s largest independent advertising agencies, working on international brands such as Bridgestone, Ford, and Kia.
In 2008, Greg and his family immigrated to New Zealand, where he started working as the Creative Director of Punch Advertising before moving to a Creative Director role at Pumpkin Patch in 2009.
In 2010, Greg started his own business, Partisan Advertising. He is very proud of the long term relationships he has established with his clients and staff. Partisan Advertising has clients in a number of sectors, including transport, freight and logistics, and animal health care.
Thirteen years of Partisan Advertising later and the symbolism of the Partisan spirit is not lost on him. The same revolutionary spirit that saw the start of a new era in his life still drives him to deliver work that matters, that changes lives, and breaks new frontiers.
Outside of work, he spends as much time as possible with his family, and is still very much in love with Auckland, exploring the city as much as possible.
Ash Kramer - Strategy
About Ash’s Career
Ash has been in sales and marketing for most of his adult life. In addition to his ad agency years, he's worked in media-sales environments with some of New Zealand's best-known publications.
Writing is a primary passion, and he's written for so many brands, publishers, and websites that it's been hard to keep track of them over the years. He's written for major technology players such as Sony, Samsung, and LG, and has extensive marketing and copywriting experience in the FMCG, pet care, transportation, healthcare, and consumer technology sectors. And, of course, he's written lots of blog posts on this site, as well as authoring our How to Choose An Advertising Agency guide.
He was working remotely long before it became something we had to learn to do, starting back in 2010. Since then, he's turned in copy ahead of deadlines from as far afield as Thailand and Hawaii. He's currently based in Carefree, Arizona, but probably won't be for long.
When he's not generating copy for our clients and assisting in brainstorming sessions, he can be found hiking and exploring whatever country he happens to be visiting.
Pamela Du Toit - Design
Pam is a cool mum whose love for colour and crafts led her to become a designer. She trained in computer graphic design straight after high school to fulfil the dream of combining her hobbies with a career. She also loves photography and takes the most beautiful annual birthday shots of her two amazing kids.
Belgrade - Head of Security
Belgrade just loves people and he barks furiously at every ding-dong or knock on our front door before he sprints eagerly to find out who’s there. His bark is bigger than his bite, so don’t worry if you hear massive howls on your first visit - he’s just a complete legend and wants to see if you are too.
